To raise its expertise further in automobile construction, Platune has teamed up with Sand-X, a Swiss company that specializes in Off-road vehicles. This collaboration is a triumph for both companies, which share a vision to bring up the level of luxury and exclusiveness.
The all-terrain vehicle (ATV) made by the two companies is certainly an accomplishment, with a claim that it can sprint to 60mph in only 2.8 seconds. It can be driven through sand, snow, pavement and mud and can carry people, guns, and cargo over 215mi (350km) through the harshest environments on a single tank of fuel. The track is made of an ultra-durable Kevlar composite. The vehicle can be used for recreation but it has military and government applications as well. Pricing wasn’t announced but it’s interesting to note that this vehicle has already gone on sale in the United Arab Emirates through Exotic Cars Dubai, its obvious target market.
